Quality Engineer

Agritek Industries Inc. is seeking a part time (10 to 20 hrs/Wk) Quality Engineer who is experienced in manufacturing and creating product realization documentation (AIAG Control Plan, Work Instruction, etc.).  This position will be hands on in creating and revising our manufacturing documentation.  Understanding the interrelationships of process manufacturing and respective evaluation method is necessary to be successful.  This position will work closely with and report to the Quality Manager, and at times work with Manufacturing and Engineering.

 Skills required:

• Highly developed organizational skills, and self-direced
• Experience preparing AIAG format Control Plans (PPAP experience helpful)
• Strong computer skills in MS Office Excel and Word (Access helpful)
• Blue Print reading (GD&T general understanding)
• knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS (Auditing experience helpful)
• Above average interpersonal skills
• Credible character (must follow through and follow our ISO procedures)
• Process Manufacturing and Calibration (helpful)
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Relentlessly striving for Better Faster Cheaper (BFC)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-6 years previous QE experience in manufacturing
• ASQ Certification or BS in Engineering (helpful)
