    Machine Shop Services (a division of Agritek Industries) is a Holland based company with a wide variety of Engineering, Machining and Tooling services and capabilities, including CAD, Boring Mills, 2d-3d CNC machining, Wire EDM, surface grinding along with manual machines.

    We are a small group of highly skilled machinists using state of the art equipment and are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated 2nd or 3rd shift CNC Machinist / Boring Mill Operator to add to our team.

    Candidates must be able to verify conformance of machined work to specifications using measuring instruments. The ability to study machining instructions, job orders, or prints to determine dimensional or finish specifications, sequences of operations, setups, or tooling requirements is also a must.

    Core Functions

    CNC / Boring Mill Operation

    • Perform close tolerance detailed machine work on multiple axis boring mill
    • Set up and program machinery for boring operation using GibbsCam software
    • Troubleshoot problems efficiently
    • Check work against print and verify that work is within acceptable tolerances
    • Recognize defective tooling, machine malfunctions, and dimensional deviations.
    • Read and interpret quality information instructions.
    • Replace and adjust existing tooling in the machine to maintain production within specifications.
    • Identify areas and make recommendations where the company can make changes to improve safety, methods, part quality, machine and tooling performance, and productivity.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas.
    • Ability to operate one or more machines simultaneously to produce parts as directed.
    • Demonstration of proficiency in shop math, basic print reading, writing, and print reading.
    • Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products.

    Agritek Industries is currently seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our team. If your “other car” is a forklift – let’s talk!

    As our new Material Handler Handler you will safely unload, transport, pack, consolidate, and load complete orders of the best quality parts, products, and services to meet the internal and external customer’s needs.

    Opportunities will also be available to contribute to the overall company objectives by learning Operator jobs within each department.

    Core Functions

    Outgoing and Incoming Shipping and Handling:

    • Collaborate with fellow employees, in house departments, and Shipping and Handling Supervisor to schedule and execute workload
    • Contribute to team output and support team in achieving or exceeding goals
    • Operate various types of forklifts, load, unload, stage, track, organize, and move materials
    • Verify quantity, quality, and paperwork on all incoming and outgoing shipments
    • Ensure proper precautions are taken to prevent damage from handling

    In-House Material Handling

    • Transport raw materials to work stations and relocate completed parts to proper locations
    • Ensure minimum downtown for machine operators due to material handling needs
    • Package materials as outlined in the Process Operator Instructions (POI) of each job
    • “Raise the flag” on any suspicious parts, mixed lots, or incorrect POIs
    • Ensure the integrity of separate part and lot numbers is maintained in the material handling processes

    Other

    • Follow all safety training rules and guidelines for forklift operators
    • Keep Aisles and Dock Areas clean and clear of debris
    • Organize raw, in-process, and finished material and maintain organization system
    • Perform operations and other duties as required by business needs
    • Create innovative solutions for time and cost savings in core function areas

    Do you enjoy working with your hands, dismantling machines to figure out how they work, and have a mechanical mind and abilities? Maybe you are a backyard mechanic or spend your free time tinkering in your garage because of your hunger to learn. This could be your opportunity!

    Agritek Industries is currently looking to add a Machine Maintenance Apprentice to our team. As an Apprentice you will work with our highly skilled team of Electro-Mechanical Maintenance experts to assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance of our machinery and equipment, as well as perform other duties such as building maintenance or even fill in or work with production personnel if/when needed.

    To be successful in this position you should have a practical mind, mechanical aptitude, and an eye for precision and close tolerance fit up. A willingness to do whatever is needed, enjoy working on something different each day and the ability to retain learned knowledge is a must.

    Core Functions

    Maintenance

    • Work with stamping presses and metal working equipment, custom automated machines, and electric forklifts.
    • Continuous learning and application of skills for reliably maintaining Agritek equipment.
    • Timely and cost-conscious projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor in regard to the facilities upkeep.
    • Follow Essential 6 Company Goals as they relate to maintenance activities.
    • Assist keeping maintenance logs and manuals updated and relevant.
    • Assist with the build and development of machinery and fixtures to assist in production activities.
    • Learning robot programming and working towards basic robotic functions.

    Projects/Specially assigned tasks

    • Fill in or work with production personnel if/when needed.
    • You are encouraged to continually think better, faster, cheaper which comes from ideas!

    Electrical

    • Begin/continue learning and working towards proficiency with Agritek’s electrical power hook-ups and maintenance of 3-phase, 480, 240 and 110 volt systems.
    • Assist with Maintenance Supervisor/outside contractors to learn how electrical/mechanical systems are maintained, changed and upgraded.
    • Begin/continue learning and working towards proficiency with PLC’s to assist with programming, troubleshooting and maintaining.

    Other

    • Follow Best Practices for Maintenance activities.
    • Be “on-call” for a three-shift operation as needed.

    • Physically able to work around large machinery and handle a large workload and long hours.

    · Accuracy of data that is documented

    · Reaction to any change, issues, NCR’s or complaints recorded in the journal area

    · Update Blue Books POI or SPILs as needed

    · Fill out timecard accurately to allocate time to parts or projects
