    Press Operator – 2nd or 3rd Shift

    Press Room Operator Core Functions

    · Perform stamping operations, set ups, and troubleshooting as required by business needs

    · Work with Production Manager and Press Room Supervisor to schedule and execute workload

    · Work with fellow employees, in house departments, vendors and customers as needed

    · Look for Risk and Opportunities within the department along with Continuous Process Improvements

    · Create innovative solutions for time and cost savings in core function areas


    Quality and Administrative Responsibility

    · Perform all documentation and processes requirements to comply with ISO:9001 quality standards

    · Review Blue books daily for:

    · Accuracy of data that is documented

    · Reaction to any change, issues, NCR’s or complaints recorded in the journal area

    · Update Blue Books POI or SPILs as needed

    · Fill out timecard accurately to allocate time to parts or projects


    Minimum Job Requirements

    · High School diploma or equivalent

    · Reliable transportation

    · Clean personal record

    · Good hand/eye coordination and a knack for details and quality

    · Mechanical aptitude in how machines function and are cared for

    · Ability to read and solve simple math problems

    · Ability to measure and use basic shop tools

    · Physically and mentally able to do job, stamina, and strength for tasks

    · Favorable references

    Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour to start, plus shift premium

    At Agritek Industries, Inc. our capabilities are vast, including metal forming, stamping, machining, CNC, assembly, custom fabrication, production welding and more.

    Agritek is actively looking for a dedicated individual to apply for a position as Quality Manager. The ideal candidate would have:

    • Management and engineering experience
    • Understanding of shop floor efficiencies and processes
    • Strong understanding of the stamping and metal working environment
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Ability to work with a diverse team
    • A deep knowledge in all aspects of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System

    Successful candidates should have strong organization, oral and written communication abilities.  Individuals applying for this role should be energized by a smaller size company where they have the ability to work a flexible schedule and, therefore, must have excellent time management skills and the ability to be self-directed.

    Quality Manager Core Functions

    • Quality System Management
      • Maintain ISO 9001 compliance to standards
      • Conduct internal compliance audits to verify adherences to quality system
      • Continuously monitor quality system for problems and trends or any concerns for quality failures
      • Monitor Risk and “raise the flag’ if at unacceptable level
      • Seek new opportunities for continuous process improvement
      • Assist with production launches, PPAPs and quality related issues
      • Oversee gage control
      • Oversee all documentation needed for compliance with ISO 9001
    • Employee Education
      • Educate, mentor, and encourage Agritek personnel on the vital importance of quality and following procedures and checks
      • Observe production, offer assistance and training, audit to standards
      • Correct and discipline supervisors and personnel on quality system as needed
    • Customer and Vendor Responsibilities
      • Work closely with vendors and customers to create a strong trust and collaborate on continual improvements in areas of quality, quantity, and cost
      • Oversee vendor quality and adherence to Agritek requirements including monitoring incoming material to specs where necessary
      • Communicate and train Agritek vendors to meet our system standards
      • Be a diplomat for Agritek with customers working out issues to mutual satisfaction
      • Field and resolve customer complaints 8-D’s non-conformance issues
    • Other
      • Report to President/Owner to meet quality goals and expectations as evaluated
      • Be a champion for better, faster, lower cost production
      • Be the big picture thinker, determine overall goals and objectives
    • Delegate specific detailed tasks and hold accountability
    • Maintain cost effective, efficient, and competitive quality mindset
    • Be a champion for Agritek
    • Follow Best Practices in Quality Management
      • Look for Risk and Opportunity along with Continuous Process Improvement


    Minimum Job Requirements

    • 2 years of college or equivalent in training
    • Minimum 3 years of intense specific job-related experience
    • Proven leadership in mentoring, training, and goal setting capabilities
    • High moral character and established integrity
    • Good work ethic, good attendance – being there for the department
    • Keep updated and current on new trends in quality areas in the metals industry, ISO 9001
    • Excellent math and statistics aptitude and good manufacturing knowledge
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to handle stress and physical requirements of Core Functions
