    DiffusionTek Finishing (a division of Agritek Industries) is a Holland based company that specializes in the innovative process of Thermal Diffusion Galvanizing. DiffusionTek was the very first licensee in North America to provide this advanced process and has continued serving our customers for more than 12 years. Additionally, DiffustionTek provides other services such part washing, part deburring and surface blasting for metal parts.

    Shift & Pay:

    • Weekend Day Shift: Friday-Sunday – $20/hour (work 36 hours get paid for 40)
    • There is flexibility with the shift times, choose what works best for you! (4am-4pm, 5am-5pm, 6am-6pm, 7am-7pm)

    Position Summary:

    Fabricates and assembles heavy structural metal products, such as benches, frames, tanks, forms, etc. according to job order, verbal instructions and blueprints: Develop layout, build jigs and plans sequence of operations utilizing strong math skills.

     The ideal candidate will be:

    • Able to identify, weld and clad different types of steel.
    • Experienced in industrial metalworking processes (ex: Oxy/Acetylene cutting torch, plasma cutter, MIG welding, TIG welding, Aluminum welding, ironwork, bandsaws, shearing, etc.).

    Core Functions

    • Utilize fabricating tools such as MIG & TIG welders, torches, plasma cutters, grinders, clamps, and other tools.
    • Interpret engineered drawings
    • Recommend modifications and improvements when applicable and maintain best weld practices
    • Repair and fabricate various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment

    Minimum Job Requirements

    • At least 3 Years of experience in welding and fabrication
    • Formal training preferred
    • Certifications are a plus
    • Broad knowledge of metallurgy
    • Proven mechanical and mathematical skills
    • Demonstrated organizational and trouble-shooting skills

    Typical Schedule: 45-50 hours/week avg with some weekends as required by business needs

Duties include manual MIG welding, some robotic welding, as well as sanding, grinding and finishing the products according to written specifications and prints.

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    • Be skilled in MIG welding
    • Weld materials within tolerance and as specified on drawings
    • Know how to use all welding equipment: MIG, all grinding equipment, torch, cutting, bandsaws, and other various hand tools proficiently
    • Be experienced in using different types of measuring tools such as carpenters square, calipers, etc.
    • Lay out and examine weldments to ensure that specifications are met

    We are looking for a person with:

    • The ability to read and understand part prints
    • The ability to troubleshoot and provide necessary repairs as problems arise

    Agritek Industries is seeking an experienced Engineering manager to join our highly talented and creative team. As our Engineering Manager you will play a key role in the overall success of our organization by planning, managing, and monitoring engineering functions. You will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects from quotes through the completion of the project. You will be a key member of the company’s management team, manage budgets, timelines, and processes making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.

    At Agritek Industries you will work with Tools, Dies, Fixtures, and Special Machines related to Metal Forming, Fabricating, and Machining Industry serving Automotive, Furniture, and Agricultural Industries.

    Core Functions

    • Engineering and Project Management
      • Work with the Agritek team to quote or re-quote engineering projects to ensure competitiveness as well as ability to produce profit
      • Define risk scope, material cost and time-cost estimates up front on each project
      • Execute and manage Engineering Projects with the stated goal of meeting or beating the time and material cost goals set at beginning of project
      • Determine, plan, and do timing charts for tasks and due dates and contingencies
    • Ensure machine and fixture design assignments are completed on time, within stated budget goals and function as required
    • Develop and design components for specific projects and production machinery
    • Perform CAD drawings for tools, dies, details, fixtures, gages, and machines
      • Purchasing of parts as required for projects and machinery maintenance

The Tool & Die Repair Technician is primarily responsible for the maintenance of all production dies, assuring that they are in proper working condition and capable of producing quality parts.

    • Make sure coil is aligned from uncoiler through to the die

  • CNC Machinist/Boring Mill Operator (2nd Shift)

    Machine Shop Services (a division of Agritek Industries) is a Holland based company with a wide variety of Engineering, Machining and Tooling services and capabilities, including CAD, Boring Mills, 2d-3d CNC machining, Wire EDM, surface grinding along with manual machines.

    We are a small group of highly skilled machinists using state of the art equipment and are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated 2nd shift CNC Machinist / Boring Mill Operator to add to our team.

    Candidates must be able to verify conformance of machined work to specifications using measuring instruments. The ability to study machining instructions, job orders, or prints to determine dimensional or finish specifications, sequences of operations, setups, or tooling requirements is also a must.

    Core Functions

    CNC / Boring Mill Operation

    • Perform close tolerance detailed machine work on multiple axis boring mill
    • Set up and program machinery for boring operation using GibbsCam software
    • Troubleshoot problems efficiently
    • Check work against print and verify that work is within acceptable tolerances
    • Recognize defective tooling, machine malfunctions, and dimensional deviations.
    • Read and interpret quality information instructions.
    • Replace and adjust existing tooling in the machine to maintain production within specifications.
    • Identify areas and make recommendations where the company can make changes to improve safety, methods, part quality, machine and tooling performance, and productivity.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Ability to operate one or more machines simultaneously to produce parts as directed.
    • Demonstration of proficiency in shop math, basic print reading, writing, and print reading.
    • Demonstration of a strong work ethic and a self-starter.
    • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
