Machine Shop Services (a division of Agritek Industries, Inc.) is a Holland based company with a wide variety of Engineering, Machining and Tooling services and capabilities, including CAD, Boring Mills, 2d-3d CNC machining, Wire EDM, surface grinding along with manual machines.
We are a small group of highly skilled machinists using state of the art equipment and are currently seeking a Full Time 1st shift entry level Support Operator / Apprentice to add to our team. The entry level Operator / Apprentice is responsible for basic operator duties including loading/unloading parts, general deburring, and basic production activities supporting a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment in a safe manner
- Loading and unloading parts to and from machine
- Use provided gaging to ensure parts meets quality specifications
- Perform basic machine preventative maintenance (oil levels, coolant levels)
- Deburr parts to be free of sharp edges
- Perform required daily clean up to maintain clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Interest in becoming a CNC Machinist
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Good hand/eye coordination and a knack for details and quality
- Self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and safety conscious
- Proven integrity and moral character
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Starting Rate: $18/hour

DiffusionTek Finishing is now hiring Machine Operators for our Part-Time Weekend Shift.
DiffusionTek Finishing (a division of Agritek Industries) is a Holland based company that specializes in the innovative process of Thermal Diffusion Galvanizing. DiffusionTek was the very first licensee in North America to provide this advanced process and has continued serving our customers for more than 12 years. Additionally, DiffustionTek provides other services such part washing, part deburring and surface blasting for metal parts.
Shift & Pay:
- Weekend Day Shift: Saturday-Sunday – $22/hour, 24 hours/wk
- There is flexibility with the shift times, choose what works best for you! (4am-4pm, 5am-5pm, 6am-6pm, 7am-7pm)

Agritek Industries is seeking an experienced Engineering manager to join our highly talented and creative team. As our Engineering Manager you will play a key role in the overall success of our organization by planning, managing, and monitoring engineering functions. You will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects from quotes through the completion of the project. You will be a key member of the company’s management team, manage budgets, timelines, and processes making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
At Agritek Industries you will work with Tools, Dies, Fixtures, and Special Machines related to Metal Forming, Fabricating, and Machining Industry serving Automotive, Furniture, and Agricultural Industries.
Core Functions
- Engineering and Project Management

- Work with the Agritek team to quote or re-quote engineering projects to ensure competitiveness as well as ability to produce profit
- Define risk scope, material cost and time-cost estimates up front on each project
- Execute and manage Engineering Projects with the stated goal of meeting or beating the time and material cost goals set at beginning of project
- Determine, plan, and do timing charts for tasks and due dates and contingencies
- Ensure machine and fixture design assignments are completed on time, within stated budget goals and function as required
- Develop and design components for specific projects and production machinery
- Perform CAD drawings for tools, dies, details, fixtures, gages, and machines

- Purchasing of parts as required for projects and machinery maintenance
- Hands on help, guidance, and support on the floor with launches, production processes, and machinery maintenance
- Review and implement any changes needed for customer revisions on production parts
- Handle problem tools, dies, details, fixtures, gages, and machines with re-designs or fixes and implement continuous improvements to maintain competitiveness with industry peers
- Continue education in computer related controls, robotic applications and functions, Gibbs CAM programming, and press controls
- Lead process improvement activities

Agritek is currently seeking a Lead Production Welder with a proven track record of accomplishments to join our welding team. Interested applicants should be experienced in robotic and manual MIG welding and finishing, leadership, training and coaching, and scheduling.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Welding Production:
- Review Production Schedule Daily to ensure on time completion of all production part orders.
- Direct and execute labor allocations daily for the best use of each employee’s time
- Oversee employee efficiency and productivity and review timecards daily
- Ensure all production parts are to print standards
- Skilled in the operation of welding robots and automation
- High degree of hands-on rated time
Leadership:
- Orient, train, and coach welding personnel to maximize productivity, ensure safe work practices and follow the Agritek quality management system
- Audit employee work to assure operations, checks and documentation are done correctly
- Oversee part-time/student employees for efficient labor allocation and offer instruction and guidance

Minimum Job Requirements
- At least 3 Years of experience in production welding and fabrication
- Formal training preferred, certifications are a plus

- Demonstrated organizational and trouble-shooting skills
- Physical and visual acuity at a level to effectively perform duties
Typical Schedule: 45-50 hours/week avg with some off shift assistance as required by business needs
Pay: Starting rate from $25 per hour plus a generous quarterly bonus program, rate commensurate with proven experience

Lake Michigan Wire is currently seeking applicants to fill a 1st Shift Four-Slide Operator position. Duties include the operation, adjustment, and set-up of assigned lines while meeting production, quality and safety requirements.
Core Functions
- Load steel coils using a forklift once trained and certified
- Perform set ups, operate the machines, and troubleshoot as required by business needs
- Work independently and problem-solve
- Maintain high productivity and efficiency standards
- Manually handle finished products and prepare for shipping
- Identify immediate quality problems and make adjustments as necessary
- Perform all documentation and process requirements to comply with company and ISO:9001 quality standards
- Adhere to all company, local, state and federal protocol and safety regulations
We are looking for a person with:
- 1-2 years experience in manufacturing
- Four-slide experience preferred but not required
- Ability to measure and use basic shop tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Mechanical aptitude in how machines function and are cared for
- Ability to read and solve simple math problems
- Physical ability to do the job (able to lift up to 50 lbs.), stamina and strength for tasks

Job Type: Full-time
Typical Work Schedule:
(10 hr days) 6a.m – 4 PM M-T
Training Schedule: Same as work schedule.
Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour and a generous bonus program, pay commensurate with experience.
