    Agritek Industries is actively looking for dedicated individuals to apply for a position as Production Machining Manager.

    The Machining Manager oversees all functions needed to meet customer demand and drive continuous improvement for the production Machining Department. The Manager also serves as a cross functional team leader, working closely with internal and external customers to facilitate operations and maintain the Department’s effectiveness.

    The ideal candidate will be

    •  Skilled in high volume, fast paced production
    • Proficient in CNC machines, programming, and machining operations
    • Strong in their organizational, leadership and communication skills.

    Production Management

    • Be a strong presence on the shop floor, observe production, audit to standards, and provide “in the moment” support and training
    • Direct and review labor allocations on a daily basis for the best use of each employee’s work hours and productivity
    • Ensure all production parts are to required standards
    • Develop and oversee employee efficiency and productivity
    • Minimize departmental down time

    Employee & Department Management

    • Orient, train, and coach Machining Department personnel to maximize productivity and ensure safe work practices and ISO:9001 documentation being followed
    • Audit employee work to assure operations, checks and documentation are done correctly
    • Encourage and support employee improvement, growth, and job satisfaction
    • Encourage employee innovation and new ideas
    • Ensure Machining Department Procedures and Processes are followed
    • On-call availability for emergency situations

    Quality and Administrative Responsibility

    • Perform all documentation and process requirements to comply with ISO:9001 quality standards
    • Review Inspection Logs daily for accuracy of documented data along with reaction to any change, issues, NCR’s or complaints recorded in the journal area
    • Control and document production parts
    • Ensure training for each operation is completed, documented, and maintained
    • Oversee system compliance within the department

    Other

    • Look for Risk and Opportunity within the department along with Continuous Process Improvements
    • Perform machining operations, set ups, and troubleshooting as required by business needs
    • Create innovative solutions for time and cost savings in core function areas

    Key Performance Indicators

    • 90% of department jobs marked green on Profitability Summary (jobs within 10% of profit goal)
    • On time completion of scheduled projects and production operations
    • No delays or extra costs due to lack of supplies or inadequate planning ahead
    • Reduction of NCRs reported in department and no customer complaints related to department work
    • Visual inspection shows area kept clean, organized and assets preserved per maintenance instructions
    • Depth of knowledge and keeping current on safety regulations and machining techniques and technology
    • Employees are acknowledged and celebrated for their achievements and poor performance is addressed
    • No workplace injuries within department resulting in hospital or urgent care visits or time off work
    • Continued Innovation seen in department

    Minimum Job Requirements

    • 2-year Postsecondary education or documented equivalent knowledge level
    • 10 years of relevant job experience
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to handle stress related to core functions
    • Physically able to handle lifting and movement required for core functions
    • Strong mechanical skills
    • Leadership traits working with people
    • Proven integrity and moral character

    Starting Salary: $85,000-$90,000

    Agritek Industries is a Holland based company that provides a single source solution to multiple manufacturing needs, from metal stamping, stamping on CNC machining, production assembly to custom welding and fabrication. We are currently seeking a committed Welder/Fabricator/Millwright with a proven track record of accomplishments to join our small group of highly skilled Professionals.

    Successful candidates will have a practical mind, mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, be committed to performing quality work and motivated to continually improve their skills. They will have a proven track record of accomplishments and the ability to build, inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain our machinery and equipment.

    Maintenance

    • Read and interpret machine manuals, prints, schematics and detailed drawings related to manufacturing equipment and machinery
    • Dismantle, repair, assemble and install components, using hand tools and power tools
    • Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation
    • Replace defective parts of a machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts
    • Ability to work independently using machinery or equipment, such as winches, jacks, hoists, rollers, trucks, scissors & forklifts, etc.
    • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
    • Complex problem-solving ability with effective solution implementation
    • Repair experience with stamping presses and metal working equipment, custom automated CNC machines

    Electrical

    • Familiarity with electronic controls, VFDs & PLCs
    • Basic knowledge of electrical power hook-ups and maintenance of 3-phase, 480v, 240v, and 110v systems
    • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of robots

    Welding

    • Fabrication, repairs, welding, and installation on all equipment
    • MIG, TIG, heating and cutting torch work

    Job Requirements

    • High school diploma with some advanced specialty training.
    • Machine repair experience utilizing hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant job experience
    • Ability to work well with all levels of Agritek personnel.
    • Physically able to work around machinery and handle a large workload and long hours.
    • Ability to work flexible hours around down equipment needs and emergency repairs

    Starting Salary: $90,000

    Agritek is currently seeking applicants to fill a 1st or 2nd Shift experienced Welder position. Duties include manual MIG welding as well as sanding, grinding and finishing the products according to written specifications and prints.

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    • Be skilled in MIG welding
    • Weld materials within tolerance and as specified on drawings
    • Know how to use all welding equipment: MIG, all grinding equipment, torch, cutting, bandsaws, and other various hand tools proficiently
    • Be experienced in using different types of measuring tools such as carpenters square, calipers, etc.
    • Lay out and examine weldments to ensure that specifications are met

    We are looking for a person with:

    • The ability to read and understand part prints
    • The ability to troubleshoot and provide necessary repairs as problems arise
    • At least 2 years manual welding related experience preferred
    • Ability to fabricate parts without fixtures is helpful

  • CNC Machinist/Boring Mill Operator (2nd or 3rd Shift)

    Machine Shop Services (a division of Agritek Industries) is a Holland based company with a wide variety of Engineering, Machining and Tooling services and capabilities, including CAD, Boring Mills, 2d-3d CNC machining, Wire EDM, surface grinding along with manual machines.

    We are a small group of highly skilled machinists using state of the art equipment and are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated 2nd shift or 3rd shift CNC Machinist / Boring Mill Operator to add to our team.

    Candidates must be able to verify conformance of machined work to specifications using measuring instruments. The ability to study machining instructions, job orders, or prints to determine dimensional or finish specifications, sequences of operations, setups, or tooling requirements is also a must.

    Core Functions

    CNC / Boring Mill Operation

    • Perform close tolerance detailed machine work on multiple axis boring mill
    • Set up and program machinery for boring operation using GibbsCam software
    • Troubleshoot problems efficiently
    • Check work against print and verify that work is within acceptable tolerances
    • Recognize defective tooling, machine malfunctions, and dimensional deviations.
    • Read and interpret quality information instructions.
    • Replace and adjust existing tooling in the machine to maintain production within specifications.
    • Identify areas and make recommendations where the company can make changes to improve safety, methods, part quality, machine and tooling performance, and productivity.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Ability to operate one or more machines simultaneously to produce parts as directed.
    • Demonstration of proficiency in shop math, basic print reading, writing, and print reading.
    • Demonstration of a strong work ethic and a self-starter.
    • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
    • Use judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions about the sequence of setups and processes within the limits of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
    • Perform work with accuracy and thoroughness to avoid costly mistakes

    Minimum Job Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of experience with programing and operating Boring Mills and CNCs
    • Ability to execute High Precision job shop work
    • Exceptional mechanical understanding and knowledge of how things work
    • Excellent tool and machining skills and good math and geometry skills
    • Proven track record of integrity
    • Ability to work well with others
    • Physically and mentally able to handle Core Functions

  • Roll Form Operator (2nd Shift)

    Agritek Industries is currently seeking applicants to fill a 2nd Shift Roll Form Operator position. Duties include the operation, adjustment, and set-up of assigned lines while meeting production, quality and safety requirements.

    Core Functions

    • Load steel coils using a forklift once trained and certified
    • Perform set ups, operate the machines, and troubleshoot as required by business needs
    • Work independently and problem-solve
    • Maintain high productivity and efficiency standards
    • Manually handle finished products and prepare for shipping
    • Identify immediate quality problems and make adjustments as necessary
    • Perform all documentation and process requirements to comply with company and ISO:9001 quality standards
    • Adhere to all company, local, state and federal protocol and safety regulations

    We are looking for a person with:

    • 1-2 years experience in manufacturing
    • Roll Forming experience preferred but not required
    • Ability to measure and use basic shop tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
    • Mechanical aptitude in how machines function and are cared for
    • Ability to read and solve simple math problems
    • Physical ability to do the job (able to lift up to 50 lbs.), stamina and strength for tasks

    Job Type: Full-time

    Typical Work Schedule:

    (8 hr. days) 2pm – 10pm M-F or

    (10 hr. days) 2pm-Midnight M-Th – you choose! Overtime available

    Training Schedule: Availability to train on 1st shift for 2-3 mos.

    Starting Pay: $18+ per hour + 10% shift premium ($19.80+ per hour) and a generous bonus program, pay commensurate with experience.
